Attic_EW is a 1:1 NFT collection of 46 high-definition images by EW (1945 -2001.) Known as the Kite Gypsy, who flew a kite every day, EW was also an accomplished photographer. In the 1980s and ’90s he ran a computer-controlled film camera to shoot \u2018Angels of Light\u2019, using multiple exposures with a camera suspended from a rig in the studio that was connected to a computer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These slides are remnants of this work and others from his collection. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Attic _EW is the third in the series of flood-damaged sewn slide collages. The originals from this series are sewn together as quilts and have been shown in art galleries in New York, Switzerland and Germany.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Attic_ICP is an NFT project by Ferose who is working to curate her work and other traditional artists\u2019 work onto the Internet computer as NFTs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Attic\u2019s first launch: Basement<\/a> is an experimental collaborative NFT art project. Basement photographs are images taken while making the drawing and sculpture project Trashquilt. When someone buys a Basement NFT hosted on the Internet Computer blockchain, they are invited to collaborate, experiment with, and make derivative works from these NFTs. There are 224 individual photographs added to the public domain. In the Attic_ Basement, all of the NFTs will be in the public domain. The Basement project launched during the exhibition “Liberte, Freiheit, Freedom, silence, parole, indifference” curated by the Creole Institute in Fribourg, Switzerland. The project is live! The second project is on Entrepot, Memory Quilt <\/a>Pieces. After her photographic archives were damaged in a flash flood, there was evidence from the captured memories remaining on the slide film. Glidden began sewing them together to make new work. There are 12 individual works in this NFT collection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
